“There’s a certain happiness that you get when we get to be out in a place like this and and the the quiet and the fellowship and just having a good time. There’s something special about that that it doesn’t really get to happen often, especially being here in a place where I don’t know a lot of people necessarily. I love hanging out with friends and the all this is just unbelievable. I would have missed out big time. I think I’d have seen it online. I’d have seen these and and just wish I’d have showed up.

I was looking for something to get away. You know, I love the outdoors and and Warren and I go on hikes a lot. I love good food, fellowship with guys that I haven’t met. I knew some of them and I wanted to get to know him more.I met a couple guys, we got to know each other a lot better. I wanted to have a good time and learn some stuff as a younger guy. So, there’s a lot of smart people here and good connections. I’d say the biggest impact would be just getting to know the guys more. I mean, meet meeting people who we’re all like-minded. That’s why we’re here. Learning history, meeting new guys that have studied stuff for a long time and just listening to them.

At the Jeffersonian dinners that we do, we get to talk and express ourselves and just sharing things without, you know, interference or somebody’s there to challenge you and it’s, you know, it’s peaceful, it’s fun, it’s everybody’s getting smarter, gain a lot of knowledge and and understanding of what some of these guys do every day for their lives. Learned to respect a lot of it. It was great.

My name is Hank and I’m from Minnesota. I heard about Meriwether from a good friend of mine, the owner. I would just say I had a a phenomenal time. You could probably figure out if you’re already interested. There’s probably something you can do to get out here and and I’d highly recommend it. I’d say you definitely should go. It’s a must. Just the fellowship we get to have and the fun times and the fires at night and everything. It’s it’s really it’s great.Really not expensive for what you get and what what we throw on. So, I’d highly recommend it. Go do what you got to do, but just make sure you get out here.

I’d like to see Meriwether turn into definitely larger a larger operation. I know Warren and I spoke about a a school kind of being the end goal and and helping out young guys and young men learn how to be young men. And that’s something we definitely need more now. And I just had a phenomenal time with the guys, a lot of fellowship. There’s not much else to say besides you got to come out here and do it. I mean, the peacefulness and everything, it’s something else. So that’s it.”
