About the Trip

16 Miles Down the
Buffalo River

Join Meriwether on our spring overnight canoe voyage as we paddle 16 miles down the Buffalo River near Waynesboro, TN. This adventure is packed full of beautiful scenic views, delicious meals, and a weekend of brotherhood you’ll never forget.

Who is this for? This trip is open to all men and boys ages 14 and up. No prior paddling experience is required. The river is scenic and beginner-friendly.

What’s Included
  • Canoe equipment, tent, sleeping bag, air mattress, and all camping gear
  • All kitchen supplies and cooking equipment
  • All meals from lunch Saturday through lunch Sunday
  • Wilderness 101 instruction and sessions on water purification, food prep, fire-starting, etc
  • Carpool transport from Nashville to Waynesboro, TN and back
