As Americans, we are the inheritors of the greatest cultural tradition that has ever existed on Planet Earth: Western Civilization. We can look back 2,500 years and find the genesis of our ideals, values, and traditions. Tracing them through time and space, we arrive at the end of a rough and rugged road, where we stand today. We are surrounded by aggressors to this tradition. They have torn down our statues, subverted our institutions, corrupted our religions, defiled our marriages, and desecrated our flag.
Where does our action against this interference begin?
Three weeks ago, the assassination of Charlie Kirk, may his soul rest in peace, ignited a wave of zeal and fervor across the American continent as Republican-minded Americans fumed in rage against the barbarous act of public violence. Many minds itched for action and revenge; yet no cities were burned, no stores were looted, no monuments were defaced. Instead, prayer vigils were held across America in remembrance and dedication. Where does it go from here?
There is a tension in the minds of many Americans right now; a lot of us are wondering what we can do to fight back against the self-evident evils that are increasingly encroaching on American values. Prudence, indeed, has dictated that no thrashing actions of vengeance have occurred in spite of those that took Charlie’s life. Are we wrong for not initiating more motion for a cause?
What do we do and what can we do?
We study, we learn, we pray, we train. We cultivate strength and virtue.
The people who want to destroy your nation have been indoctrinated into Communist ideology and know how to articulate it; so we continue to study and remain articulate ourselves. Reading Franklin, Locke, and Jefferson offers a comprehensive study of the values which birthed our Republic.
We can train our bodies and our minds in ways that sharpen them. We despise the artificial foods that have poisoned our bodies and our minds, and we put good things into our bodies instead. We reject the sloth and idleness that leads to dullness. We turn our backs on the mindless entertainment that has become the boon of our culture and we fix our gaze on the noble horizon of truth.
At some point, a valiant bell will ring and our path will be made clear; because of the way we have lived our days, we will be fit and ready to answer the call of duty.
